Post for October 30 week

Bawww, I really wanted to do a final project in scratch. I don't have enough time to do it in my personal time, and doing it at school would've been a great opportunity.
It's okay though, it's okay. **holds back tears**

I think Jeroo is fun to mess with, mostly when the Jeroo falls into the water....
i mean...um, that's not funny at all!
Poor Jeroos....

in any case, I hope we get to do fancier coding than "hop()" "plant()" and "turn()"
the coding also reminded me of the hulk ( BETTY HOP, BETTY PLANT)

I'd like to use a program where we come up with the coding all by ourselves, instead of having a premade stage like Jeroo. I think it's only useful to teach, but not to mess around with by yourself, as going through a plot is no fun when you made the island yourself...

....but that's just me....

This week was very fun.
Messing with scratch is very fun, and redoing coding to make it do what you want it to do is great.
I had a good deal of fun with the number guessing game, as I made Sprite look like a zombie (not sure why) and an attitude.

So much fun

I
could
not
do
that
last
challenge
I think my mind was too busy not understanding how putting codes in edited an image, to understand how to do it. How does that happen? Can I use any image? My mind has to deeply understand how something came to be before I get it, and I did not get that!

Also, I had a pretty low opinion of scratch before, but then I saw taht awesome game, and I think scratch has a lot of potential! The activities are fun to do, for me!

Finishing website. I like how it turned out, but only on the very basic sense of it. I don't think my understanding of CSS was deep enough for me to arrange the website as I would've liked it to be, but it was still a website I don't have to be ashamed of. I wish I had had better content to put in it! (hahahaha)
In any case, this was a good refresher on web coding

Post for October 3 week

I really like CSS!
With HTML, it took an excessive amount of coding and layering of that coding for anything I did to look like I wanted it to. But with CSS, I can just make it do so with a few words!
I hadn't used CSS much before, but I know I will with future projects.
The only thing I had issues with is that once I used a specific coding for positioning of one thing (such as a paragraph), I couldn't have anything after it without it being positioned this way as well (as in, a secondary paragraph would also be positioned like the first), and if I tried repositioning only that one, it would position the first one.
Never figured out how to fix that bug...
